001 - Team Two

Soon after arriving on the jet, Daphne had announced the teams. She had also mentioned that Team Leaders would be announced just before the first challenge-probably thinking it would put the teams at a disadvantage when in actuality it just prepared them for anyone to be the leader.

Wally was grinning from ear to ear. He was so psyched for this season! There were new people (new ladies in particular~), new places, and most importantly, a whole new Wally. He was sooo over the events of the previous season. It didn't even phase him anymore! Nope not at all. He looked about the room, deciding who he should speak to first. He figured he might let the ladies chaise him for once, so he decided on the guy with orange hair. He walked over "Heey dude! What's up!?"

Ai was busily looking around the dining hall that his team had been confined to after the announcement of who was with who. To this unit, I owe my utmost loyalty and strength in pursuit of our common found goal of meeting the merge! He thought to himself, but feeling as if he were getting ahead of the game a tad too quickly.

It was around this time that he was pulled from his thoughts by the excited voice of Wally's late-puberty cracking yelp. "Ahh good question my friend! However, one who knows all of the answers has not been faced with all of the questions, yes?" He smiled at his allusion. Ai slowly bowed in a 45 degree angle to Wally as he said "I am Ai. My I ask who you are known as?"

Will comes into the dining room rubbing his eyes and saying out loud to no one in particular but himself most likely “Ugh that woman in pink was so annoying”, he stopped walking as soon as he saw the rest of the team. “Urhmmm hi” he mumbled and he continues speaking again to no one in particular “I’m Will, pleasure I guess…” He didn’t wait for an answer and started walking around the room checking out the place, and while doing it asking “So… has anyone seen some decent food around here, or are we going to be eliminated in order of the weakest to the stronger stomach?”

Julie walked into the dining room and observed her teammates carefully. She had to keep herself from crying out in frustration to whatever higher power had it in for her when she saw zebra pants guy was among them. Freaking fantastic.

The other two she'd seen didn't seem exceptionally bad-- but then again, she would be probably proven wrong.

She overheard one of her teammates' comment and looked around the plane.

"No. As I see it, we probably won't even make it to the first elimination until this thing crashes." She gave two careful knocks to the wall and jumped back when the plane shook, a bit noticeably.

Right. She should probably start hoping to survive the fall, if anything happened, others be damned.

Awkwardly surveying her teammates again, she waved with one hand. "Sorry. I'm Julie, by the way."

Ai lifted a finger to draw attention to the wisdom he was about to provide in response to Will's hunger. "Many of my masters have been able to survive months on end from only the morning's dew upon the honey leaves of the fields. Simply, hunger is only a state of min-" At the moment, he was interrupted by the grumbling of his own stomach. "However, a meal would be nice, yes?"

He then laughed off the awkward hypocritical sense of his statement as he looked over at Julie, the girl he'd received frightening vibes from previously. He stared for a second, but quickly shook the feeling. She hadn't done anything wrong until now, how could she be so scary? "It's a pleasure to meet you, my friend" he bowed his head Julie.

Will laughed at Ai's being interrupted by the grumbling stomach. "You seem smart orange guy, just dont let the hunger take that away from you, since from what I've seen there are lack of brains in this plane" Will took a sec to continue and said with a lower voice "After all thats what can make this team win...just saying"

Will then turned his head to see Juliet when she knocked the wall and the plane shook, "I wasnt planning to die so soon, even if the plane breaks apart, we might be able to survive with a parachu-..." he reflects for a moment "...never mind, there are probably non parachutes in this plane/jet thingy" He shrugged his shoulders.

As he quit looking for food he sat down and finally saw Wallys trousers -most of the girls say that we guys are like animals, I think I just locked myself in this plane with a Zebra- He tried to erase the image from his head and began to turn around his marker on the ground and making noise with his right foot.

The sound of heels were heard walking in the distance. A figure was seen approaching the doorway to the dining hall. A scent of cotton candy perfume arose in the area. The figure was none other than...

...Tiana.

"Hey y'alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll-"

She took a deep breath.

"llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll what be up?! My name's Tiana, and I'm about to scream I'm so excited! Ooh are y'all my team mates? What's our first location? What's er'bodies names? Are y'all just as excited as I am?!"

Tiana began to do a quick dance due to her extreme amount of energy and excitement to be on the show.

Ai tilted his head sideways at Will's whispered remark. Was the intelligence comment suppose to be a positive on his superiority, or a laugh that he was still grouped with the dim-witted despite his smarts? Either way, Ai smiled and did a half-hearted 'hoo-ha' fist pump to show his enthusiasm.

However, his would never match the levels of Tiana. Her eruption of questions was all taken in a blur as he was still overwhelmed by her sweet scent of something candy-like. Because he had no idea of what else to do, he simply nodded along as he scanned his team. "I am Ai, then there's Wally, Will, Juliet, and... her?" he said as he lift a hand towards Ruby.

Whichever one of these people would end up as captain, he was unsure of whether he would feel safe in the decision as of yet.

Wally had zoned out for a moment, seemingly slipping into a memory of happier fro related times. He quickly came back to reality however and shook it off after hearing Tiana's loud entrance. A grin spread across his face. It seemed that more ladies had arrived~ He already knew Ruby, of course, but she was being fairly quiet, so he figured she might want some alone time. He was very eager to get to know Tiana and Julie though, so without hesitation, he strut towards Tiana (managing not to trip over his own feet for once in his life) "Nice to meet you Tiana~... Say, did you know that there are only 21 letters in the alphabet?"

"Nice to meet all y'all," Tiana then peered over to Wally asking her about the alphabet, "and no I didn't!" Tiana reacted wholeheartedly, without realization of the correct number. She observed Wally's fashion sense, and suddenly paused at his zebra striped pants.

"Oh my gosh boy I love yo pants! Creativity in style is one of my all time favorite things! Mmh! I can tell I'mma like you!" Tiana got a little excited and snapped her fingers.

Well, she hadn't responded to the line, but she'd said that she liked him! That was a good sign... Right? Wally's grin broadened and he glanced back at Ai for a moment, then back to Tiana. "I think I'm gonna like you too~ And these pants were a gift from a real classy lady~" Oh yeah. Grandma Turner was the classiest lady he knew... Even if all she did was sleep in front of the television watching either Dr. Phil or reruns of Seventh Heaven.

"Classy? You mean like a teacher? Well...at least she got style?" Tiana recalled that she never did well with teachers....or learning....or anything school-related.

"no like..." Wally thought for a minute "Like, someone who is elegant and stuff! Like my grandmother, who gave me these pants, elegantly swears at the cable company over the phone if the cable goes out" He nodded. Perfect example. He was dead serious.

"we're almost like siblings~" he smirked for a moment before the realisation set in. "Wait no... Cause like siblings cause that'd be weeeird... Like... Step siblings~" unf. Oh yeah. He was a stud. He totes walked out of that one.

When Tiana came and announced her entry, Will couldnt help but boggle, Will's first thought about Tiana was like -wow she has a really annoying voice- but he then reminded to his own -play it cool Will play cool- so he decided to remain quiet towards her.

"I heard your loud chat" said Will adressing to Wally and Tiana. -Not so sure about the classy thing they were talking about, and even though Will was far away from the fashion world, he told to himself, that that was not classy at all.

"So Zebra guy, when you said *craziest things* are you saying you have played this game before?"

Now that had definitely caught her attention. Old contestants on her team? She could definitely use that in her favour, or at least know who could be a potentially threat or target.

Turning her head and zeroing her eyes on the guy in question... he was definitely 'usable'. The guy wore zebra pants that she'd distinctly heard had been chosen by his grandmother. Either way, Julie sauntered over to where all her other teammates were chatting.

She took note of all of them on turn. Weird, colourful loud girl, weird guy that didn't seem particularly threatening, weird kid with orange hair. Right. All weirdos. Well, she could as well play it cool.

"Anything interesting you're discussing?" she smiled politely. "If any of you wants to fill me in, that is."

No need to let them in on the fact she'd been briefly listening on their conversation, of course.

Ai also waiting for Wally's response. Since he has been on a previous season, maybe there was some wisdom he could share with the rest of the team. "Wally, from your experience, is there any wisdom or insight of the game you could enlighten us with?" Ai tapped his chin as he thought out loud to the others. "Team (Three) has the advantage of Carlson. Team (One) has a double advantage of Manda and especially Anne. Against us, their experience is unmatched."

He looked over at Juliet who appeared to be the only other on the team that was seriously considering their team potential. She may be intelligent, so it may be in best interests to fornicate a bond with her...

Julie, too, looked over at Ai as he was speaking. Weirdo or not, it seemed like he not only had a brain, but also actual ability of judging the most obvious threats in this game. Interesting... She might not write him off as background noise for too long, after all.

"Oh, so we're talking about the old contestants?" she intervened. "I've done a bit of reading on some of them, and I don't think we should worry too much about Team Three having an advantage over us, yet." She furrowed her eyes, thoughtfully. "Team One, on the other hand, has not only two old contestants, but two of the strongest competitors in the last two seasons."

She looked over at Wally. She hadn't really read up on him, though. She'd skipped most of the ones who looked like they wouldn't get a second chance unless they bribed the producers. She mentally sighed.

"And, well, we have Wally, here," she was almost certain it was Wally, "and, there's the other girl... right? Ruby."

What a dumb name. And for the little time she'd talked to her, what a weird girl, too.

"I'm sure we can handle the other teams, using their expertise and our other talents."

She raised her eyebrows in Wally's direction for a second, as if daring him to say he had no expertise whatsoever. Please let her be wrong on this one.

Nodding along as Juliet spoke, Ai took mental notes on the things she was pointing out to them. “By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.” He now, had turned his attention away from talking to the whole team to mostly Juliet as he smiled. "By this, I believe we have the greatest potential!"

Ai's only concern lay with Ruby. Is she in the slightest concerned for the well being of our unit or only thy self? Only time would tell.

He turned to Will, "who do you assume will be placed as the captain of our unit, my friend?"

To be honest Juliet raised in Will some curiosity and concern, she seemed to be analytic so far she seemed to be the one in the room with more preparation for the competition, even more than Wally, or maybe he is just playing dumb so far, that might be kind of unlikely considering his looks but anyway Will had met a lot of people like him that has inner talents.

Ai's question brought him back from his inner thoughts "as I said, there are lack of brains in this plane so, the best option is to have a clever leader, so I will go either for you or Julie, she seems like an strategically kind of person, and lastly but not less important the awkward girl over there" Will pointed at Ruby "she has something not so sure what but yeah, but if I've to choose I rather follow your instructions orange guy"
